We had the careers, the house and the life we thought we were supposed to want. We also wanted something different.
In 2024, we sold our house, our cars and most of our belongings. Less than 60 days after deciding to leave, we arrived in Albania with four checked bags, two carry-ons and our cat, Arrow.
Before Smile Abroad, our combined professional experience spanned sales, marketing, eCommerce, technology, consulting, branding, design and business operations. We brought those skills with us—and had to learn how to put them to work in a new setting.

Before you book
A few useful answers.
What if I don’t know what I want to do yet?
Start with your experience, the work you would enjoy, your financial needs and your constraints. We can compare options from there. You don’t need to arrive with a business plan or complete the Path Finder first.
Is this only for people moving to Albania?
No. We focus on the income model and how it fits your life abroad. Albania is our home base and where our deepest local experience is. Country-specific employment, tax, residency and business requirements need review by qualified professionals in the relevant country.
Can you help if I already have a remote job or business?
Yes. The session can focus on portability, dependence on one employer or client, operations, timing and what you need to confirm before relying on that income abroad.
How is this different from the Club or a quick introductory chat?
This is dedicated private working time for your income decision, with intake review and a written action summary. The Club provides ongoing group support and community. An introductory chat helps establish fit; the strategy session is where we work through your plan.
Is this for organising my banking, pension or U.S. setup?
This session focuses on earning income: your work, skills, customers and business options. If you already have retirement income or savings and mainly need help preparing your banking, documents or U.S. setup for a move, ask Sam about the right preparation support before booking.
Will I have to join a longer coaching program?
No. This is a standalone session with its own deliverables. If more support would be useful, we can discuss it separately. There is no requirement to buy anything else.
Will this guarantee income or help me secure a visa?
The outcome is a clearer recommendation and a practical test. Earning income still depends on your circumstances, demand and execution. We provide strategic planning and business guidance; legal, tax, immigration, accounting, employment and investment advice belong with appropriately qualified professionals.
What happens after I book?
We coordinate the session time and intake with you, review your situation, then meet online for 90 minutes. Afterward, we send your written action summary. If you need to check timing before paying, email Sam and we’ll work it out together.
How does the Club member price work?
